My Top 6 Wishes For Supergirl Season 6!
Supergirl is wrapping up it’s final 20 episodes this year! That means we must say goodbye to all our favorite characters, The sweet sister moments, Kara-Lena moments and everything in between! Here’s what I want for season 6!
Kara Zor El and Happiness
All I want is Kara to be happy. Whether that be happy with Lena in the end (cough, together romantically, cough) or happy single and with her family! I don’t want her to be forced into a relationship with. a man she showed little to no romantic interest in and continued to pursue her even after she said no and meant no. Kara deserves to be happy. She deserves the world and that’s all I truly want for Kara Danvers. Also, this does not mean I want her to go into the future with Mon El. He is a married man and Mon El in the comics canonically has a son with someone who isn’t Kara. Whatever happens, Kara x Happiness is the number one thing that should end in the show.
Alex Danvers, Kelly Olsen and Kids. Let’s talk
Alex Danvers wanted a child. Remember that? She wanted kids and that’s why she and Maggie (her ex fiancee) broke it off. Alex’s child story line completely disappeared in season 4 and was never brought up in season 5! My wish is that Alex and Kelly’s relationship gets explored more. We get more intimate dansen scenes and we get to see them and their love flourish! Hopefully that includes Alex finally being a parent.
Nia Nal and her powers.
Nia Nal. What a powerful person. She is phenomenal and such a powerful superhero. If the writers explored her character more, she could be just as kick ass and bad ass as Supergirl. I personally think they do not dive into her character enough and they should! She could be unstoppable and hopefully they show just how powerful, kick ass Nia Nal really is! If they (the super friends) help her train, she could totally be as bad ass as Supergirl!
Brainy/Querl Dox
Ah Brainy! What an awesome character! I hope Brainy ends up having a bad ass future as well because he is a bad ass character. I hope he and Nia Nal are endgame and they have such a wild time kicking bad guys’ ass together while being one of the best (straight) couples in the Arrowverse. It would be great to dive more into his background and everything else. Go more into his family and explore the other Brainy’s from other worlds. (particularly the female Brainy’s)
J’onn J’onzz
J’onn! Everyone’s favorite space dad! I don’t have much to say about J’onn unfortunately due to the fact his story line is over used quiet a lot. But I want to see J’onn’s story be explored. Perhaps he discovers something about his own family or they dive into him harnessing new powers as Martian Man. I think that, that, could be an interesting story line.
Lena Luthor
I won’t lie and say Lena isn’t my favorite character and Katie Mcgrath along with the female cast don’t carry the show, because she is, and they do. They carry the show. But if anyone besides Kara deserves a happy ending. it’s Lena Luthor. After years of being placed on a low stool and being seen as “just another Luthor.” I’d love to see Lena genuinely happy. She deserves to be happy and she deserves all the love in the world. And for the love of God, PLEASE let her get some therapy. I personally want to see her happy with Kara. She and Kara are meant for each other and they hold such a special place in my heart. (Yes, I am a Supercorp shipper) I really hope Lena is happy by the end of season 6 because she genuinely deserves to be happy. Whatever happens, Lena being happy is all that matters.
Last final thoughts:
It’s sad to say goodbye to our beloved characters and it’s hard to say goodbye to the cast, but I just know I will follow them everywhere they go. Whatever happens, Kara being happy and Lena being happy are all that matter. And I truly hope the writers do it justice.
