WHY I WILL ALWAYS LOVE HOSIE

Written by A.J Riley (A Hosie stan til death)

Hi beautiful people, happy Wednesday.

I am back with another article about Hosie. I know what you’re thinking ‘Ugh! Another one?’

Yes.

Note: I am a very passionate person when it comes to my ships and I will openly put my opinions about ships out there. Especially the ships I adore and love more than anything in the world. So chances are, you’re not gonna agree with my opinions if you don’t ship Hope and Josie. Which is fine, you don’t have to ship them! But please keep it in mind that I am very biased when it comes to articles like this one. So just click off if this isn’t your type of article you wish to consume ❤

ALSO: I apologize if this article seems ‘cringe’, but I really don’t care haha :) I am autistic with ADHD and writing is my passion and I love Hosie

Pair a passionate writer with Hosie as a hyperfixation, plausible special interest and you get this whole mess

Another note: I do not get paid to write these, I just write whatever I want since I can never really put things into words! So I apologize if I seem all over the place

Now onto my article :)

For those who don’t know, Hosie is a popular non-canon f/f pair between Hope Mikaelson and Josie Saltzman on the CW’s show Legacies (2018–2022) — And it is loved by many, many people. Including myself, obviously.

The actresses Danielle Rose Russell (actress for Hope Mikaelson) and Kaylee Kaneshiro (actress for Josie Saltzman) are some of the biggest captains of Hosie themselves.

Like a majority of the Hosie fandom, people have often noticed little things here and there about how Hope and Josie showed signs of being in love with each other. Including myself. Not only did the show establish that both Hope and Josie had crushes on each other from when they were younger, it was also very obvious that their feelings for each other were still there. Josie’s feelings appeared to be more evident than Hope’s. As mostly throughout the show, Hope was in love with her boyfriend Landon.

While I do think Hope deeply loved Landon, I also think she was completely unaware about her obvious feelings for Josie. As it was stated in my previous Hosie articles, both girls did not give up on each other when they were either ‘Dark Josie’ or ‘No humanity Hope’ — signifying that they both saw the good in each other, despite everyone else around them suddenly seeing a monster.

I will always, and I mean this very seriously:

Love Hosie with all of my heart. No matter what happened in the show prior to it’s cancelation, it will always be canon to me

And while I am aware that the line “it will always be canon to me” feeds into some type of delusion, I do enjoy being delusional about Hosie at times. Especially since I deal with real delusions in my day to day life due to my mental illnesses (sorry to get into that part lol — but I struggle with psychosis and bipolar disorder) so joking about having Hosie delusions helps me cope!

ANYWAYS,

This is all for now ❤

I’m gonna go cry over Hosie more

Have a great day and remember

Hosie is the best ship in Legacies and will always have a Legacy!
